It was a moment of great pride and pleasure for Brishchik to host renowned thespian, Partha Pratim Deb, in Seattle from July 22 to July 24, 2016. Parthapratim Deb is one of the leading theater personalities in Kolkata right now. He is one of the senior members in Nandikar. He and Rupa Deb also founded Alaap, another theater group. In recent times, his plays (Nachni and Panchyajanya), both written and directed by him, have received rave reviews and national recognition.

Parthapratim Deb staged a full-length Bengali play (2+ hours) POROSHMONI based on the life and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda. It is written and directed by Parthapratim Deb and casts him in the role of Swami Vivekananda, the solo cast displaying youthful power and radiance in a variety of shades of a musical play.
